Spanish cinema icon – Concha Velasco passed away, leaving behind a great legacy

MADRID – On December 2, veteran actress Concha Velasco passed away at the age of 83, leaving behind a valuable Spanish film, stage and television treasure. She is widely known for her groundbreaking roles and has won many major awards in her long career.

Concha Velasco was born in 1939 in Valladolid and grew up in Madrid. She fell in love with acting at the age of 17 and quickly impressed the audience with her natural acting style.
